The Manitoba Junior Baseball League will operate with eight teams in 2011. The Winnipeg South Chiefs are returning after a lengthy absence. The Chiefs will join the Altona Bisons, Pembina Valley Orioles, Elmwood Giants, Interlake Blue Jays, St. James A's, Carillon Sultans and the 2010 champion St. Boniface Legionaires.

CJRB Sports Director Clayton Dreger asked MJBL President Scott Neiles to comment on the 2010 season at the League's Annual Awards Luncheon which was held this past Tuesday at MTS IcePlex in Winnipeg.

The St. Boniface Legionaires swept the Altona Bisons in three straight games in the 2010 Manitoba Junior Baseball League final.
