The Manitoba Moose have extended their winning streak to five games. Eddie Lack stopped 33 shots as Manitoba downed the Peoria Rivermen 4-1. Sergei Shirokov, Lee Sweatt, Jonas Andersson and Tommy Maxwell did the goal scoring for the Moose (17-10-0-4) who moved into a tie with the Toronto Marlies for second place in the American Hockey League's North Division. Both teams have 38 points and trail the division leading Hamilton Bulldogs by five points. Manitoba will play its final game of 2010 on Friday against the Chicago Wolves at MTS Centre in Winnipeg.
