The Manitoba Moose will head into the Christmas break riding a three-game winning streak. Sergei Shirokov scored his seventh goal of the season 3:51 into the third period and Eddie Lack stopped 20 shots as Manitoba blanked the Houston Aeros 1-0 at MTS Centre. The victory completed a weekend sweep for the Moose who downed the Aeros 5-3 on Friday.

Manitoba's next game is Friday, December 27th at home against the Peoria Rivermen. The Moose are 15-10-04 and have moved into a tie for third place in the American Hockey League's North Division with the Toronto Marlies. Manitoba is just four points back of the division leading Hamilton Bulldogs.
