The numbers are out from a fund raising event Friday night in Boissevain.

The Lions Club hosted a meat draw. Club President Ivan Strain says the proceeds are going to a Boissevain woman who will go for the M-S Liberation Treatment next month.

A raffle for a camera, perfume and shoes raised another 3,500-dollars. Another group is raffling off a big screen t-v. That draw will be held in early March and is expected to raise several more thousands of dollars for the Gray family.

Strain isn't surprised by Fridays turnout of more than 300 people.

Joanne Gray will be in Albany, New York for the procedure on February 19th.
