The Neepawa Natives winning streak has reached eight games. Tyler Gaudry scored a powerplay goal 28 seconds into the third period as Neepawa downed the Winnipeg Saints 4-2 at the Yellowhead Centre. Richard Olson added an empty-net goal with 20 seconds remaining. Nate Thompson and Tyler Larson scored first period goals for the Natives who received a 25-save performance from goaltender Wendell Vye. Neepawa is 12-4-0-1 and trail the Portage Terriers and Swan Valley Stampeders by three points in the race for top spot in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Sher-Wood Division.
