Structure Fire

On June 4th, 2024, at 06:42 am Police were called to a structure fire in the 300 block of 16th street. When Police arrived, the house was in flames. Brandon Fire Department extinguished the blaze, and no occupants were in the building. The Fire is being investigated by the Office of the Fire Commissioner.

Arrest Warrant

On June 4th at 11:00 am Police conducted a traffic stop in the 000 block of 9th street. A 29-year-old female was arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for Theft Under $5000. She was released for court on August 15th, 2024.

Breach of Peace Calls

On June 4th at 6:46 pm Police received a call of a disturbance at a location in the 100 block of McTavish Avenue. A 14-year-old male was arrested as he was causing a disturbance and would not calm down. He will be released in the morning.

On June 4th at 9:30 pm Police were called to a disturbance at a residence on Cornell Bay. An intoxicated 16-year-old female was arrested as she was found to be the cause of the issues. She will be released in the morning.
