Construction on the expansion project at the International Peace Garden continues!

"The Conservatory is continuing to come alonge," shares Peace Garden, CEO, Tim Chapman. "We're waiting on the connection between the solarium, the original room with the big, tall cacti, to the new expanded structure. So that will happen in the coming weeks."

"Once the building is completely enclosed, we'll be able to start with the landscaping," he adds.

"It's exciting to see it coming along week by week!"

The new children's play area has also seen some additions over the last few weeks.  "Just last week, some components that weren't ready this summer have been added, including these decorative eggs in the Eagle and Hawk zones, some of which double as seats for the kids and their families," explains Chapman.

"That's a beautiful new addition that folks may not have seen if they haven't been back to the Garden over the past month or so," he adds.
