If you're looking for a special gift for Mother's Day this weekend, you might want to take in the International Peace Garden's Mother's Day Brunch this Sunday!

Peace Garden CEO, Tim Chapman, invites all mom's and their families to this very special meal to celebrate Mother's Day with them!

"Obviously there's not a whole lot of flowers but Mother's Day is our official kick-off to our summer events," shares Chapman.  "It's warm and it's the first chance to have visitors come in for 2023, and really the first chance in 3 or 4 years to really invite Canadians back, because even last year the ArriveCan App was still in place, so it was difficult for people to get down."

The Mother's Day Brunch will take place at the Cacti & Succulent Conservatory building's large front lobby as in past years. Visitors will be seeing the Conservatory under construction and will get a glimpse of what's in store once the cacti collection moves into its big, new beautiful home at the back of the building.

"We are getting near completion of our of our big project so there will be more parking available than there was last year," explains Chapman.  "We'll have golf carts shuttling people down to the Conservatory.  Unfortunately, the project is not complete, so we can't do tours this week, but people can get a sneak peek as they walk around and look through the big glass windows."

A spread of wonderful food and a special plant for each mom to take home is what's waiting for Sunday's brunch.

"I remember my first couple of years here and I just really enjoyed the fact that I got to meet so many people from Boissevain and around Westman because it was part of their family tradition to come to the Peace Garden every Mother's Day," he adds.
