The International Peace Garden's new Conservatory and Interpretive Centre.

It has been another busy year for the International Peace Garden south of  Boissevain.

Chief Executive Officer Doug Hevenor says their numbers show a steady flow of visitors this year...

Hevenor says those numbers are pretty good considering the amount of rain the area received this summer. He expects the new conservatory will help them stretch out their season and allow them to draw even greater numbers to the Peace Garden.

Hevenor says the challenge is trying to determine where to spend their marketing dollars in an effort to draw more people to the Peace Garden, so that they can generate more revenue. He adds they were quite successful drawing new groups into the Garden in September and October, and they hope to continue that trend over the winter months.
