Possess weapon Dangerous.

On April 15th at 12:04 pm Police were dealing with a male who was a suspect in a bike theft in the 500 block of Rosser Avenue. The 38-year- old male was arrested and he was found to have bear spray tucked in his waist band. The accused was also on a court order not to possess weapons. He was held for court on April 16th, 2024.

Failing to comply with an Undertaking

On April 15th, 2024, at 2:52 pm a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue reported a male was in the store and he was on an order not to be. The employee thought he may have stolen an item, but this could not be confirmed. A 33-year-old male was arrested for failing to comply with his undertaking. He was released for court on June 27th, 2024.

Sexual Assault and Assault

On April 15 at 10:43 am a 27-year-old female came to the Brandon Police Service to report a 30-year-old male who was known to her had assaulted her both physically and sexually. The male was arrested and released for court on May 13th, 2024.

Assault

On April 15th at 4:10 pm an employee from a pizza delivery company called to report when he attended a residence in the 1100 block of 9th street he was assaulted. The driver reported a child had answered the door and had too much money to pay for the pizza. When the driver told him he did not have enough change a male then came from inside the residence and began yelling at him, pushing him, and spat in his face. The driver returned to his car with the pizza and the male then came out to his car without a shirt or shoes on and opened the car door and grabbed the pizza and grabbed the debit machine. A 36-year-old male was arrested for assault and theft, and he also had two outstanding warrants for assault and failing to attend court. He was held for court on April 16th, 2024.

Assault

On April 15th at 6:31 pm Police were called to the 1330 block of Princess Avenue for two females fighting. A 25-year-old female advised she was approached by a female who asked to use her phone and when she refused, she was thrown to the ground and assaulted. A 26-year-old female was arrested for assault. She also had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. She was held for court on April 16th, 2024.

Suspicious Fire

On April 15th at 8:49 pm policed received a 911 call of a camper on fire in the 800 block of Assiniboine Avenue. Bradon fire Department attended, and the cause of the fire is unknown and does appear suspicious. No one was injured. This matter is still under investigation.

Possession of a weapon and meth

On April 16th at 05:26 am Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 1000 block of Rosser Avenue. A 35-year-old male was arrested as he was out past his curfew. During the search of his person officers located a machete, a baton, and a small quantity of methamphetamine. He was held for court on Aprill 165h, 2024.
