Portage la Prairie RCMP investigating suspicious death - August 25, 2023

 

On August 24, 2023, at 10:10 am, Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report of a body located outside a vehicle, located near Municipal Road 44 W, in the RM of Treherne.

Officers attended to the location and located a 51-year-old male deceased.

The cause of death remains under investigation as we await the results of the autopsy.

 

Portage la Prairie RCMP, along with Major Crimes Services and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, continue to investigate.
