UPDATE - Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Services searching for bank robbery suspect

On December 28, 2023, at 11:30am, Steinbach RCMP responded to an attempted bank robbery on Main Street in Steinbach.

Officers responded immediately but the male had fled prior to their arrival.

Kendall Raike, a 44-year-old male, is wanted in connection to this attempted robbery and the bank robbery in Grunthal on December 27th. He has been charged with two counts of Robbery.

It is believed that he is in the Steinbach area but also has connections to Winnipeg.

The investigation is ongoing with officers from multiple RCMP units and detachments searching for the suspect.

St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP searching for bank robbery suspect

On December 27, 2023, at approximately 1030am, St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP responded to a bank robbery on Main Street in Grunthal.  

The investigation has determined that a lone male entered the bank and demanded money while making threats towards the employees. Following the robbery, it is believed the suspect then fled in a vehicle.

The suspect was wearing a dark coloured jacket and a black toque with a small logo and lettering beneath. He is described as having shoulder-length dark brown hair with a moustache and some facial hair.

The Manitoba RCMP’s Major Crime Services, Forensic Identification Services along with officers from the St-Pierre-Jolys detachment are investigating.
