On Saturday I made my way out to the Peace Garden, just south of Boissevain where the Cancer Relay for Life was taking place. The event started at 7 pm and went all night! It was such a beautiful setting for such a great event, and everyone enjoyed the peacefulness, and beauty. The opening ceremonies were moving as cancer survivors took a lap around the  Peace Garden, sporting their yellow shirts. Later on at the luminary ceremonies, lighters were passed out to light all the luminaries placed around the garden. Thank you for all the support shown, and for taking part in such a moving and beautiful event.
