Things are looking good for the Second Delodaze music festival in Deloraine.

The event which happens every two years will take place Saturday, June 25th.

"I just hope everyone has fun and enjoys it as much as they did the first one," said Event coordinator Liza Park.  "It is just one day this year but we have four pretty awesome bands and a lot of variety of music so there is something for everybody.  Just come kick off summer in Deloraine."

Park noted the evening will feature classic rock, country, jazz and dance music.

Meanwhile, bubble soccer, an ACDC cover band and a fireworks show are some of the other activities planned this year.

Park shared they hope to see up to 400 people at the festival; but are prepared to host as many as 500.

She stated it's great these events draw in people from other regions to the town; however, the focus is still on attracting the local community.

"We are working hard to promote within as well," explained Park.  "They are our main supporters, the people of Deloraine and area.  I have had some questions from people phoning as far as Neepawa.  We do we bring in people from outside but our main focus for advertising and promotion this year was within that 100 kilometres of Deloraine."

She added things are basically ready for the bi-annual event.  Advance tickets are now on sale in Deloraine.
