Delaney Collins of Pilot Mound along with Jocelyne Larocque & Bailey Bram of Ste. Anne are in Toronto for the National Women's Hockey Team Selection Camp. At the conclusion of the camp, 21 players will be chosen to represent Canada at the 2011 IIHF World Women’s Championship, which will be held April 16th-25th in Zurich and Winterthur, Switzerland. Once the final roster is chosen, Canada’s National Women’s Team will hold an orientation camp from April 6th-9th in Ann Arbor, Michigan and play two exhibition games against the United States, before the team departs for Europe. Winnipeg's Jennifer Botterill was invited to the Selection Camp but has retired. This marks the first time that Canada’s National Women’s Team has held a selection camp prior to the IIHF World Women’s Championship since the 1997-98 hockey season.
