The Manitoba 4-H Council is encouraging people to wear green today for national "Show Your 4-H Colours" day.

"'Show Your Colours' is a national initiative put on by the Canadian 4-H Council. We're trying to get people all across the country to show their 4-H colours," explains Philip Fenez, president of the Manitoba 4-H Council. "Not only that, they're trying to get people to take pictures to show what they're doing." Prizes will be given away to people who upload photos showcasing how they are celebrating 4-H.

November is National 4-H Month.

A delegation of Manitoba 4-H members are headed to Toronto for the National 4-H Conference, which begins tonight.
