The Manitoba Ag Days Bull Congress continues to see growing interest.

Several dozen purebred breeders had animals on display in Barn 3 at the Keystone Centre this week.

"We take part in the Bull Congress because we feel its a very beneficial thing for us to do. It really pays off," says Jared Glasman of M & J Farms near Russell. "We get a lot of traffic here. With the big equipment show, guys can come in here and relax, look at bulls and we find a lot of guys are interested."

He says they've had several major sales result from showing animals at Ag Days.

The Bull Congress is seeing increasing interest from producers as organizers had to turn away entries this year.

"I've actually heard they have a 2 year wait to get in here. It's not a very big show but the traffic, and the power of advertising here, is tremendous," says Glasman.

Ag Days wrapped up on Thursday. Around 35 thousand farmers attended this year's show.
