Two Manitobans, goaltender Kristen Campbell of Brandon and defenseman Jocelyne Larocque of Ste. Anne, are on the Team Canada roster.

Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness did not accompany the team on their three-game road trip that begins tonight against the Kings in Los Angeles. Bowness, who will take part in game planning via Zoom, was not on the bench Monday night when the Jets defeated the St. Louis Blues 4-0 at Canada Life Centre. Earlier in the day, Bowness suffered dizzy spell and appeared to feel unwell while speaking to reporters after the team's morning skate.
