Blake Wheeler is expected to miss multiple weeks with a knee injury. The Jets captain was injured in the third period of Winnipeg's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks in Vancouver last Friday. Wheeler's right knee buckled when he got tangled up with teammate Nathan Beaulieu in front of the Jets net. Wheeler has one goal and 17 points in 22 games this season. Defenseman Neal Pionk is expected back in the lineup when Winnipeg begins a three-game homestand tonight against the Buffalo Sabres. Pionk has been in concussion protocol since taking a knee to the head from Toronto Maple Leafs forward Jason Spezza on December 5th.
