The strike currently affects the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Toronto Argonauts, Ottawa Redblacks, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Montreal Alouettes, BC Lions, and Saskatchewan Roughriders. The two Alberta teams, the Edmonton Elks and Calgary Stampeders, have been carrying on with their camps, as scheduled, due to provincial labour laws forbidding them to strike for a period of 72 hours from the expiration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, which occurred Saturday at midnight. The pre-season schedule is to begin Victoria Day Monday with the Blue Bombers facing the Roughriders in Regina.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes and Sioux Falls Canaries were rained out Tuesday. The Fish and Canaries will play a pair of seven inning games today starting at 5:35 p.m. at Shaw Park.
