Today we shared one of the most powerful stories of survival we've ever had the opportunity to help tell.

Plum Coulee's Amanda Legault survived a violent high speed crash with a farm truck in April 2009 at the junction of two provincial highways west of Altona. After weeks in a medically induced coma, months of therapy to essentially relearn everything, and years of recovery... she has written a book called In My Wake which will hit store shelves in early March.

Amanda was our guest Wednesday on the Morning Show, and we began her story with the collision.

After setting the scene of her survival story that ultimately led her back to walking with God, and writing the book In My Wake, we transitioned into the moments after the crash and the beginning of the recovery process.

Amanda also spoke about why she felt it was important to share her story, and what her first words were and who they were too after she woke up from a medically induced coma.

In My Wake by Amanda Legault will be available the week of March 7th at Winkler Bible Books Shop, Co-op locations in Winkler and Morden, the Olive Tree in Morden and a number of online retailers. Watch the video of her conversation with Morning Show Co-Host Chris Sumner below.
