The Portage Terriers saw their preliminary round record fall to 1 and 2 after dropping a 4-2 decision to the host Camrose Kodiaks at the 2011 RBC Cup National Junior "A" Hockey Championship. Clayton Jardine scored just 38 seconds into the game for the Kodiaks who led 1-0 after the first period and 3-0 after forty minutes. Tanner Waldvogel and Mike Gemmill did the goal scoring for the Turnbull Trophy & ANAVET Cup champions who have Wednesday off. Portage goaltender Jason Kasdorf stopped 21 shots. The Terriers will need to win their final preliminary round game on Thursday afternoon over the Wellington Dukes in order to qualify for the semifinals.
