Brandon-Souris MP Merv Tweed made a couple of funding announcements in Brandon this week.
The first was awarding 28,000-dollars to the Optimist Club of Brandon.
Project coordinator Jason Gobeil says the funds will allow them to work with 25 individuals.
Tweed also announced 163,700 dollars for a housing project. The money will be used by the Canadian Mental Health Association Westman Region to convert a 2 storey building into 4 apartments.
