Brandon-Souris MP Merv Tweed isn't pleased this week's vote to end the long gun registry fell short.
The Tory MP says his party did a lot of work to rid the country of legislation that wasn't working. In the end the Tories fell short by 2 votes.
Tweed says the issue isn't dead. He says it will be an issue in the next federal election.
