The 23rd annual Virden Indoor Rodeo and Wild West Daze took place this weekend in Virden, and for the first time, the event, including the rodeo was held in the new Multiplex. A nice addition to the weekend's event.And for the 9th time, the rodeo won the 2010 Manitoba Rodeo Cowboys Association Rodeo of the Year Award.

 

MRCA director Chad Stiles says he has gone to Virden’s rodeo for 22 years. Stiles says, “What makes it great is great
committees, lots of competitor incentives,” Stiles said. “Some of the best amateur rodeos in Western Canada are in Manitoba ... they’re all really quality facilities attracting really high entries.”
