A busy highway in western Manitoba has reopened Friday morning following a serious collision.
Manitoba Infrastructure says that Highway 16 was closed in both directions approximately 6.5 KM east of Shoal Lake around 9:40 a.m. due to the collision.
There is no word at this time on the number of vehicles involved or any injuries.
Emergency crews responded to the area, and a detour was put in place.
Manitoba Infrastructure says as of 11:05 a.m. the highway is open once again.
Shoal Lake is approximately 76 KM northwest of Brandon.
