Zach Wytinck of Glenboro is in a tie for fifth place at the midway point of the 2016 Nott Autocorp Provincial Men's Amateur Golf Championship.

Wytinck, who captured the provincial junior title last week at Bel Acres, was two-under par 70 Tuesday at the Minnewasta golf course in Morden and has a 36-hole total of 145.

The lead heading into round three belongs to Zach Sackett of Elmhurst who was seven-under par 65 and is at six-under 138.

Defending champion Devon Schade of Elmhurst is tied with Wytinck at 145.

Five Shilo members made the cut.

Travis Fifi is in a tie for 11th place.

He was 75 yesterday and is at 148.

Brad Pardy was 74 and is at 151.

Austin Dubrescu was 76 and is at 155.

Ross Sheard was 77 and is at 157.

David Glenn got in on the number.

Glenn was 80 and has a 159 total.

65 golfers made the cut and will play the final 36 holes today and Thursday.

Jeremy Marvin of Shilo was 84 and had a 169 total.

Drew Jones of Shilo, who was 86 in round one, did not play round two as he withdrew from the championship.
