The Winnipeg Jets continue to struggle at home.

Jamie Benn scored a pair of third period goals as the Dallas Stars defeated Winnipeg 5-3 Tuesday night.

Colton Sceviour, Jason Spezza and Valeri Nichuskin also scored for the Stars.

Alexander Burmistrov, Andrew Ladd and Mark Scheifele replied for the Jets who have just two wins in their last 11 games at MTS Centre.

"As a team, our confidence is low right now," said Winnipeg goaltender Ondrej Pavelec who stopped 22 shots. "It's about winning and losing. Sometimes we're playing good, but we can't win the game, sometimes we’re close, but close is not enough. But we're still in the race, there's going to be another game. We're going to go to Dallas on the road, so we need the points."

The Jets (25-30-4) are in last place in the Central Division and are 12 points back of the Colorado Avalanche who hold the second wildcard spot in the National Hockey League's Western Conference.

Winnipeg will play in Dallas on Thursday and then face the Penguins in Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon.
