The Winnipeg Jets six-game losing streak came to an end Wednesday night at MTS Centre.

Mark Scheifele and Drew Stafford each had two goals and an assist and Mathieu Perreault chipped in with three helpers as Winnipeg defeated the Vancouver Canucks 4-1.

The Jets, who were winless on their recently completed four-game Central Division road trip, drew a ton of energy from their fans as they won for the first time since November 5th.

"It helps," said Winnipeg defenseman Tyler Myers. "We went through a tough stretch, and to come back and get a win in front of our home crowd, it certainly raises our team confidence. I expect we’re going to come into our next game and expect the same effort. To get a win, it certainly raises our spirits a bit."

Daniel Sedin had the lone goal for the Canucks.

Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec stopped 29 shots.

Winnipeg (9-9-2) will host the Arizona Coyotes this Saturday and the Colorado Avalanche on Monday.
