A day after the Manitoba Senior Baseball League season finished with the Oak River Dodgers claiming their first ever Cliff Seafoot Trophy, the league handed out it's individual awards. The Dodgers' Matt Gunning claimed three awards, including the Don Smith Memorial Trophy for most home runs, the Barry Moffat Memorial Trophy for the league's highest batting average, and the Gordon Smith Memorial Trophy for being the most valuable player of the regular season.

Teammates Morgan Geekie and Gino Stering, along with Nolan Jago of the Brandon Marlins, took home the Riverside Canucks Trophy for most valuable players in the league finals. Dodgers' manager Gord Paddock was recognized for his dedication to the game and sportsmanship with the Ab Richardson Award, as well as the Andy Newton Trophy for the league's top manager.

Other awards handed out included the Hamiota Red Sox Award for the pitcher with the most wins, which went to Daylon Creasy of the Neepawa Farmers. Rookie of the Year honors went to Jordan Robertson of the 2014 league champion Brandon Cloverleafs.

Left Field: Nolan Jago - Brandon Marlins
Right Field: Marshall Burgess - Brandon Marlins
Utility: Bryan White - Neepawa Farmers
Pitcher: Paul Thompson - Brandon Marlins

The Dodgers took the league title after besting the Brandon Marlins in 5 games, capping it off with a 6-4 victory on Tuesday night.
