Brent Seabrook scored 62 seconds into overtime to lift the Chicago Blackhawks to a 5-4 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night at MTS Centre.

Artemi Panarin had two goals and two assists for the defending Stanley Cup champions.

Patrick Kane with his 40th of the season and Brandon Mashinter also tallied for Chicago.

Blake Wheeler scored twice for the Jets while singles went to Nic Petan and Dustin Byfuglien.

“It was definitely a roller coaster,” said Mark Scheifele who had a pair of assists and extended his points streak to six games. “We score, they score, they score, we score. It was a back-and-forth game. We both had our chances, and it sucks being on the bad side of it again.”

Winnipeg will play it's final home game of the season Sunday (7 p.m.) against the Minnesota Wild.
