The South East Prairie Thunder won their round robin opener at the 2015 Allan Cup in Clarenville, Newfoundland & Labrador.

Steve Crampton's goal with 2:41 remaining lifted the Prairie Thunder past the defending champion Dundas Real McCoys 4-3 Tuesday afternoon.

Riley Dudar scored a power play goal with 4:44 left which tied the game at 3-3.

Terry Yake and Tyler Dittmer scored second period goals for South East.

Mike Amodeo, Dan LaPointe and Shawn Snider replied for the Real McCoys who finished the round robin with an 0-2 record.

Prairie Thunder goaltender Steve Christie stopped 29 shots.

South East fired 56 shots at Dundas netminder Mike Mole.

The Thunder will play their final round robin game at 1:30 p.m. against the Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts.

If the Prairie Thunder win - they have a bye to the semifinals on Friday.
