The Boundary Co-op's new card lock fuel facility is fully up and running.

The $1.3 million facility, located south of Boissevain, began operating on March 11. Members will need a card to access the facility, and those cards can be obtained at any of the Co-op's locations.

"We're looking to attract all kinds of motorists, especially the semi-traffic along Highway 10 each day," said Ryan Polnik, general manager of the Boundary Co-op. "It will also be nicer for the larger vehicles including the campers in summer and of course local support is always very important to us also."

The fuel tanks at the old site north of Boissevain will be removed and dismantled and the shed located on the property will still be used for storage, according to Polnik.
