What started as a call out for 100 coffee mugs to be collected and donated to Siloam Mission, continued in truck loads of household items and clothing to two missions in Winnipeg; that being Siloam Mission and Flavie-Laurent Centre.

Killarney residents, Barry and Dot Caswell, had heard about the need for coffee mugs at Siloam Mission as they serve coffee in real mugs (not just plastic or Styrofoam) to those who visit their centre each morning requiring some 350-450 mugs each day.  Through time, many mugs get broken or damaged and there is always a need for more.  The Caswells achieved more than their goal, collecting over 400 coffee mugs for the Winnipeg mission.

Since December the giving continued and the Caswells have been astounded at the generosity from the community with the number of household items and clothing they have received thus far, resulting in literally truck loads of boxes and bags heading to Winnipeg.
