A fuel up for charity program proved quite popular in both Boissevain and Deloraine.

Thanks to Boundary Co-op’s Fuel Good Day a couple of libraries picked up cash donations.
People fuelling up on Tuesday saw eight cents of every litre going to the Boissevain-Morton Library and the Bren-Del-Win Centennial Library.

Fuel sales in Deloraine jumped about 40 percent and the library received $863.
In Boissevain fuel sales were up about 30 percent on Tuesday. That resulted in $1,336 dollars being raised for the Boissevain-Morton Library.

Fund raising barbecues also made up part of those totals. Co-op officials were pleased with response and hope the Fuel Good Day is back in 2018.

Boundary worked in conjunction with Federated Co-op with the fuel up initiative.
