Boundary Co-op plans to spend about $650,000 to make some internal improvements to the grocery store in Killarney.
The Co-op recently finished improvements to the food store in Deloraine and attention is now turning to the work set to get underway down thew road in Killarney.
Boundary Co-op general manager Ryan Polnik says work on the Killarney project is expected to be underway in the next few weeks. “What we are doing in Killarney is some retrofits to our refrigeration and in our bakery-deli area we are going to be putting in some new refrigeration.”
Polnik adds there shouldn’t be much disruption to day to day service. “We hope to start by the end of February and have the work completed by June. This is a replacement project and there won’t be any additional space added onto the Co-op.”
