A water tank-fill facility will be installed in Medora in the summer of 2018.

The Municipality of Brenda-Waskada plans to put one in by mid summer. “We already have tank fills and Waskada and Napinka and plan to add on at Medora” said Head of Council Gary Williams.

The water will come of the Southwest Water Co-op’s line that passes through the Medora area. “That water is drawn from the Oak lake aquifer, goes down Highway 83 and is treated in Melita before flowing out the line down Highway 3 before splitting to go east into Medora and south to Waskada.”

The line will allow people in the Medora area to access treated water that they can use in their homes and on their farms. Williams says it will ikely be a coin operated facility similar to the other ones in the municipality.
