The Keystone Centre grounds will once again be transformed into an outdoor monster truck arena.

It's the second consecutive year the venue has hosted Monsters and Mayhem.

The grounds will run three shows this weekend, one on Friday evening and two on Saturday.

"We've got some unique different things planned," shared Keystone Centre General manager, Neil Thomson.  "We've got the battle of the giant transformer happening between a couple of the vehicles there, we have the Outlaws of Motorsports and the Canad Inns Ride Truck at all the shows as well."

Thomson noted there is a variety of different competitions for different fans during the show.

He said Monsters and Mayhem is a family event and encourages all ages to come out.

"You've got the youngsters who like to see the transformer trucks there, you got middle age people and seniors as well who enjoy some action and loud noises."

Meanwhile, last year's event was the first time a monster truck show was held in the Wheat City in about 20 years.

Thomson added, with seating capacity at 2,000 per show, they have plenty of seating at the grounds that are close to the action.

Shows will take place July 8th at 7 p.m. and July 9th at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Advance tickets for all three shows are now on sale at the Keystone centre website.  Tickets will also be sold at the gate.
