People had a chance to see first hand the inside of an ambulance during a tour in Brandon on Sunday.

In recognition of this year’s Paramedic Services Week theme, “Paramedics: Enhancing Care – Changing Lives”, Brandon Fire and Emergency Services personnel are providing free tours of a parked ambulance rig to people of all ages. The next tour will be:

Saturday, June 3rd from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Home Depot parking lot, 801 18th Street North, Brandon

The public is invited to climb aboard the parked emergency service vehicle and learn about the live-saving work undertaken by emergency medical services staff in their community.

2017 also marks the 100th year anniversary of Brandon Fire & Emergency Services providing EMS care in the community the city.
