The RCMP have updated the investigation into a shooting in Portage la Prairie early yesterday morning.

Sergeant Paul Manaigre says they're searching for two suspects, adding charges have been laid by the Portage RCMP, with assistance from the RCMP Major Crimes Unit.

"Police, at this time, are looking for 18-year-old Gary Joseph McIvor," he says, "He also goes by the name of Gary Roulette, apparently from the Brandon area. He's been charged with three counts of attempted murder. We also have a warrant for arrest of 19-year-old Mateo Roulette, from the Portage la Prairie area. He's facing three counts of aggravated assault."

Manaigre asks for your assistance in finding the suspects, but stresses you shouldn't approach either one if you see them, but contact the RCMP or Crimestoppers instead. You'll find that information below.

Three people were injured, and Manaigre updates us on their condition.

"We have one that's still in critical, but stable condition. Another male is in stable condition, and the third has actually been treated and released."

Manaigre says both suspects may be armed and dangerous, and asks again that you not approach them.
