The Manitoba government is reviewing eight new plans for collection and recycling of specific products. The the provinces Waste Reduction and Prevention Act, producer responsibility Organizations have provided product stewardship plans in regards to the proper recycling and collection of materials and products like paper and packaging, fluorescent lights, household hazardous waste, paint, electrical waste, used tires, primary and rechargeable batteries, lead-acid batteries, mercury thermostats, and unused medications.

Manitoba sustainable development would like feedback from Manitoba residents on what we have to say about the stewardship plans.
