On October 18, 2018, RCMP received a report that on multiple occasions, a 16-year-old male had been sexually exploited.

The RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit was engaged in the investigation, and a search warrant was executed on the residence of a husband and wife in Lavenham, Manitoba on November 5, 2018. Portage and Treherne RCMP, as well as the ICE Unit and the RCMP Technical Crime Unit, were involved in the search. Digital devices were seized.

Donna Woodward, 58, was arrested and charged with:

  • Making Child Pornography
  • Possession of Child Pornography
  • Possession of  Child Pornography for the Purpose of Publication
  • Sexual Exploitation by Touch
  • Sexual Exploitation by Invitation to Touch
  • Sexual Assault
  • Bestiality

Charles Woodward, 60, was arrested and charged with:

  • Making Child Pornography
  • Possession of Child Pornography
  • Possession of Child Pornography for the Purpose of Publication
  • Sexual Assault
  • Bestiality

Both suspects are remanded in custody.

The investigation's ongoing, and the RCMP is concerned that there could be more victims.
