Killarney RCMP are in search for a possible missing person.

On June 30th the Bottineau County Sheriff in North Dakota received a 911 call from a male stating he was lost. The cell phone call was lost, and his location was determined to be in the RM of Morton.

Killarney RCMP, with the assistance of Manitoba Conservation officers, began to search the area near the border, close to Boundary Lake and Hartley Lake.
Three Bottineau County Border Patrol agents also assisted with the search.

RCMP Search and Rescue and the Office of the Fire Commissioner are now on scene assisting with the search of the Turtle Mountain Park area.

Searchers are going on very little information. The identity of the individual is unknown. It is also unknown whether he could have found his way and be unaware a search and rescue effort is underway.

RCMP ask that anyone with information to contact the Killarney RCMP, Crime Stoppers or submit a secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
