The finishing touches are being completed on a new commercial mall in Boissevain.

Merle Neufeld has purchased the former Co-op food store along with fellow business owner Marc Loewen.

“We're renovating it for right now for four businesses,” said Neufeld. “One is Turtle Mountain Physiotherapy (owned by Neufeld), the other is my partner's business Copperman Electric and then a third business that we are going to be opening up together is called Fit Stop which is a gym for the community. We have one other tenant and then we have about 3,000 square feet that's still left to develop for other possible tenants.”

Neufeld says he has no doubt that they will be able to fill the empty space, even if it takes a year or two to attract a tenant.

The building is scheduled to be finished in September.
