RCMP have ended the search for a possible missing person.

On Tuesday, the Bottineau County Sheriff in North Dakota received a 911 call from a male stating he was lost. The cell phone call was lost, and his location was determined to be in the RM of Morton.

Killarney RCMP, with the assistance of Manitoba Conservation officers, began to search the area near the border. Three Bottineau County Border Patrol agents also assisted with the search.

Corporal Terry Lussier with the Boissevain RCMP says they called off the search Wednesday night. He said there were no reports of anyone missing and they had exhausted all leads in an effort to find any missing person in the area.
