Residents of Killarney continue to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and this weekend is no exception.

A children’s program will take place at the Shamrock Centre on Saturday between 1:30pm and 4:00pm. Jo Pettypiece coordinates the program and she looks forward to seeing lots of kids at the Shamrock Centre Saturday afternoon.

“Kids can enjoy cookie decorating, face painting and crafts. We’ve had to cancel the ride a paint pony ride but it couldn’t be helped.”

Pettypiece says all the activities at the Shamrock Centre are free and there’s activities for kids of all ages.

“Sport Manitoba is here with Motion Zone and it’s aimed at children ages 2-10 and they’ve got activities going on all afternoon.”
