For the first time in several months, the municipality of Norfolk-Treherne will have a full council.

The municipality's by-election was held this week, with four new councillors being named.

Ryan Gaultier was voted in for Ward 1, Albert Lesage won for Ward 2, while Steve Nicholson and Gilles Guertin were voted in for Ward 3.

The people of Norfolk-Treherne also voted in favour of a tax levy on all properties in the municipality of Norfolk-Treherne to pay for a natural gas pipeline.

646 voted yes in the referendum while only 367 said no.
