Wawanesa Insurance opened their new building in the small village of Wawanesa on Thursday.

The new building was built out of the old hardware store and renovated into a large office space with state of the art standing desks, new computers and a brand new break room.

Over 100 people attended the grand opening, including CEO and President of Wawanesa Insurance, Jeff Goy as well as the Vice-President, Kevin Bailey and Minister of Justice, Cliff Cullen.

Kevin Bailey was happy to answer questions about the new location.

“What I’m most proud of is the fact that our organization is committed to small town Manitoba and the roots of the company.” Bailey commented. “The decision to expand and move on and grow our operations in the village of Wawanesa, that’s pretty cool.”

The new building is now open for business and the employees say that they are satisfied with their new offices.
