The Killarney Shamrock Centre's Fall and Winter programming is in full swing!  From pickleball to ice time, from fitness classes to art workshops, the Shamrock Centre has lots of recreation ideas as we turn the page to December.

Rec Director, Carly Waters, says she's embraced her new role as recreation director and is pleased to see so many great programs already in progress.

"There are already a lot of well-established and very well-run programs," she says. "We've got figure skating, and lots of adult recreation programs like pickleball and badminton. For the kids we have gymnastics and we've got the sticks and pucks and public skating."

Waters says coming up in the next few weeks before Christmas they will be showcasing the works of 35 vendors at their 'Last Chance Christmas Market' December 2nd from 9am-3pm.

Some new programs that they're looking at in the new year includes a class in ethnic dance mixed with exercise, as well as some nutrition programs.

"We're looking to get out our winter rec directory at the first part of December and so that will have all the programming that's coming up from January to March, 2024!"
