Intoxicated Person

On June 27th at 8:30am police received several calls regarding an intoxicated male falling off his bike then trying to fight a security guard near the 700 block of Rosser Avenue. A 23-year-old male was found to be highly intoxicated and was lodged overnight. He will be released once sober.

Disobeying Court Order

On June 26th police received a call from a female that a 23-year-old female, whom she had a protection order from, showed up to her place of employment contrary to conditions. The female was located and charged with Disobeying a Court Order. Court date set for September 23, 2024.

Warrant Executed

On June 27th at 10:45am police located a 44-year-old male at his residence on Louise Avenue and executed a Failure to Attend Court warrant. He was released on an appearance notice with a court date of July 25th, 2024.

Warrants Executed

On June 27th at 4:22pm police identified a 29-year-old male in the 400 block of 9th Street who had two outstanding Brandon Police Service warrants as well as one RCMP-Souris warrant. The male’s charges from Brandon Police Station were Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Failure to Comply with Probation, and Failure to Attend Court. RCMP charges were Possession of Stolen Property. The male was arrested and held overnight for court in the morning on June 28th, 2024.

Sexual Assault/ Assault

On June 26th at 11:30pm a female reported that her partner, a 21-year-old male, assaulted and sexually assaulted her. The female required medical care at the hospital where she provided a statement to police. On June 27th the male was located and arrested by police. He was later released with a court date of August 22, 2024.
